SSC CHSL 2017 Recruitment Notification Out:
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the recruitment notification for the post of Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant (PA/SA) and Data Entry Operator(DEO).

Pay of the Posts:
Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Pay Band -1 (Rs. 5200-20200), Grade Pay: Rs.1900 (pre-revised)
Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA): Pay Band -1 (Rs. 5200-20200), Grade Pay: Rs. 2400 (pre-revised)
Data Entry Operator(DEO): Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200-20200), Grade Pay: Rs. 2400 (pre-revised) and
Data Entry Operator, Grade ‘A’: Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200-20200), Grade Pay: Rs. 2400 (pre-revised

SSC CHSL Date of Tier-I Examination (Computer Based Exam): 4th March to 26th march 2018

When will  the exam be conducted?
Staff Selection Commission will hold the examination from 4th March 2018 to 26th March 2018  in a computer based pattern.

What is the age criteria to apply in this Examination?
Different post have different age criteria. Candidates are required to make sure about their age and qualification before applying for the examination. Age-Relaxation Permissible beyond the Upper age limit.
Age Limit as on 1st August 2018 (18-27 years)

What will be the mode of applying the examination?
Candidate please note that only online applications will be accepted at http://ssconline.nic.in.

What would be the fee structure?
General Candidates: Rs 100/-
Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen (eligible for reservation) are exempted from paying application fee as per extant Government Orders.

Mode of Examination : Examination will be held in a computer based pattern. There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I.

SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam Pattern

This is a (DES)descriptive exam and is conducted offline. Candidates need to write Essay/Letter/Application/Precis. This is to test the written skills of the candidates in English/Hindi. The best way to prepare for the same is to read lots of articles from various newspapers. Focus on the Intro. and conclusion of the Essay. Apart from this, you need to be well aware of the pattern of Letter and Application.

Important Points:
  • The time duration is 60 minutes and carries 100 marks.
  • The exam duration is 80 minutes for candidates who are visually handicapped or suffer from cerebral palsy.
SSC CHSL Tier-III Examination
Tier-III of the Examination would be the Skill Test/ Typing Test which would be of qualifying nature.
The final merit of the successful candidates would be determined on the basis of total score obtained by them in Tier-I and Tier-II.
What will be the items that one has to carry along with Admit card?
Candidates should bring 3 passport size colour photographs. Candidates not carrying photographs may not be allowed to appear in the examination. In case the scanned photograph(s) appearing in the Commission’s copy of Admission Certificate and or on Attendance Sheet is not clear invigilators are required to verify the identity of the Candidate with reference to the photo ID Proof and get colour photographs pasted on the Commission’s copy of Admission Certificate and or on Attendance Sheet

What will be criteria of Selection?

Candidates will be shortlisted and recommended for appointment by the Commission on the basis of their total marks in the Paper – I & II and preference for the posts.

Dear Aspirants, NICL AO Phase-I Recruitment Exam is over, Now it's time for exam NICL AO Exam Review (3rd June 2017) - 1st Shift. A lot of students have appeared for this exam today and this brings them to a step closer in their journey of getting a Job in Banking Sector. Without wasting any moment, let's get straight to the analysis for which you are all waiting for. The overall exam was of an easy to moderate level, this was a major relief to all the aspirants but this also means that the number of attempts will go high.

There are 3 Sections in NICL AO 2017 Prelims Exam namely English, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. English had 30 questions, Quant and Reasoning had 35 questions in each section. 60 minutes time limit was given for 100 questions.

Big Update: Due to recent postponement of various SSC exams Like CGL, CPFA etc the previous SSC Exam Calendar which was announced on 18th April is scrapped and on 10th April, 2017 SSC had announced a Revised calendar for various SSC Exams in 2017-18

It includes the Revised Exam Dates of SSC CGL 2017, SSC CHSL 2017 and various other Recruitment and Departmental Exams

As soon an SSC announces the Exam Calendar 2017, we will will upload the PDF on this page. Even you can subscribe to this website for free. Subscription enables you to get updates free by email, without even visiting the site.


When is CGL Exam in 2017 ?


The exact date will be known once the SSC Exam Calendar 2017 will be announced. However, it is expected that Notification, will be published in Feb/March, 2017 and exam will be held around June/July, 2017. When is CHSL Exam in 2017


CHSL 2017 Date is more difficult to predict , as till August, SSC CHSL 2016 Notification was not announced. CHSL Date and Schedule, will be known only after the announcement of Calendar. 

Here are the Dates of CHSL 2017 Exam

1) Notification for CHSL 2017 to be announced on :18th November, 2017

2) Online Registration closes on : 18th December, 2017

3) Date of Computer based online exam : 20th March to 20th April, 2017


SSC CGL Exam Calendar 2017 (Tentative Schedule)

On 18th October, 2016, SSC had uploaded the Offiical Exam Calendar for 2017-18 on its Official Website but this Exam calendar, turns out be a  complete mockery for SSC itself, as SSC failed to conduct the exams, as per the schedule, even SSc failed to release the Notification also.

However, on 10th April, 2017, SSC had released a revised calendar for various SSC Exams, therebe announcing the fresh Expected Dates for various exams like CGL, CHSL etc.
