IPPB Scale-1

IPPB Preliminary Exam Pattern:

IPPB Pre Exam Pattern will contain 100 questions & in 3 sections in the Preliminary Examination with 1 hour duration. The marks obtained in the Preliminary examination will not be considered for preparing the final merit list.

A) IPPB PO 2016 Exam Pattern – Preliminary Examination

B) IPPS Mains Exam Pattern

IPPB Mains exam will contain 200 questions which will be of 2 hours. The pattern of the Mains exam is:

Important Note – Marks obtained by the candidates in the Main examination will only be considered for shortlisting for Interview and preparation of final merit list.

Note: There will be negative marking for wrong answers marked by the candidates in both Preliminary and Main Examination which implies a penalty of one – fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to the particular question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.

C)  Interview Process

The last round of selection is Interview process to be attended only by the candidates who would have obtained the minimum cut off score in the Main Examination. The Interview will be held at selected centres and will be conducted by Participating Organizations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IPPB.
